About me
I'm a dynamic legal professional exploring the world of public relations and corporate communications. My background in corporate and administrative law focuses on resolving disputes peacefully and protecting consumer rights.
I'm passionate about solving problems, communicating effectively, and building meaningful relationships. Whether I'm organizing events, meeting new people, or sharing stories that matter, integrity is part of what I do.
Outside of work, I enjoy working hard, travelling, the beach and spending time with my family.
My journey
My professional journey began at the Chamber of Commerce, where I started my career as a lawyer, participating in events to promote alternative dispute resolutions.
I then worked as a legal specialist at the National Institute of Consumer Rights, before joining the Ministry of Housing in the Dominican Republic. In those roles, I drafted public contracts, analyzed legislative frameworks, and developed alternative dispute resolutions.
I also had the enriching experience of living in Germany for a year as part of an international exchange program. This opportunity allowed me to learn German.
Currently, I am pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Centennial College in Toronto. This new chapter enables me to bridge my legal expertise with the dynamic field of public relations, focusing on clear communication and ethical practices.
My work
As a legal professional transitioning into public relations, I bring critical thinking and problem-solving skills to every project. I specialize in crafting persuasive news releases, conducting comprehensive reports, and developing strategic communication plans.
I have experience handling tools like InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere, enabling me to create impactful content for platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram. In addition, I've contributed to commercial projects, including the production of an energy drink video. I have also organized various successful events for charities and sports fields.
